Time for some fun stuff
Well, I've had enough depressing stuff for a while. Time for something fun. Out of boredom I made a video of my kitty Wasabi chasing a laser pointer. I just wish I had half the energy that he does. Enjoy. (Click on the image below and it should open the video)

I saw a funny sight on our deck when I got home from work today. I grabbed my camera and got this shot below. This squirrel raids our bird feeders on a daily basis. It looks like he got more than his fill this time.

The birds here in Buford aren't too bright.
We've had a small wooden bird feeder attached to our deck for several years now. Lately I've found it empty after work and was having to refill it on a daily basis. I decided to purchase an additional feeder to handle the crowd. What's very odd is I'm finding the birds won't eat out of the new one. As an experiment I've been leaving the old feeder empty to try to force the birds to eat from the new one... As you can see below, the stupid birds would rather peck at non-existent crumbs in the empty feeder than go over to the new feeder and pig out. Are they really that dim? This definitely has me stumped.
